Say it out loud
Saying it out loud releases the tension of the thing you’re carrying within.
A bit of tension
Whenever I have some stress, it’s usually when the environment is moving against me. Especially the people in it. I tend to suffer under this.
It’s not the melodramatic type. It’s just a bit of tension in between my eyebrows.
The analytical side fires up
My thoughts tend to speed up, and the analytical side of my brain fires up. This consumes energy. And late at night, this can become tiring.
Then I speak it out
Then I decide to speak it out. Usually I’ll speak about the thing with someone close. Perhaps not even in a direct manner, just an off-hand comment.
Perhaps they’ll respond with interest. Perhaps with disinterest. But the simple act of having voiced the point of focus out loud takes all the load off my shoulders.
It becomes solvable
All of a sudden, the taboo in my head is something that exists in the real world, and can easily be referenced in another conversation. It becomes solvable.
And most of the time, things solve themselves.
A word on paper
A thought and a word on paper are different. A word on paper and a spoken word are different.
Where lies the strength, you might ponder? You might think it comes from social pressure: an internal process driven by external signals. But it’s more so the calling into being of the spirits.
A spoken word is a thought manifested in our material universe. The spirit called into being.
They want to exist
They tend to have an aversion to dissolution. They want to exist.
Your thoughts become your statements. They become their own source of energy, which you can draw yours from. At least, that’s one idea.
Thanks mouth
At least I can sleep tonight. Thanks mouth.
